Terms of Service
Welcome to JonGo (“we,” “us”). These Terms govern your access to and use of our site and ride request features (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1) The Service
JonGo helps riders request local rides from independent drivers. We are not a transportation carrier. Drivers are independent contractors who decide whether to accept a request.
2) Eligibility
You must be at least 18 to request a ride. If 13–17, you may only request with a parent/guardian present and responsible.
3) Accounts
No account is required right now to submit a request. We may introduce accounts later to improve safety and convenience.
4) Pricing & Payment
- Estimates: You may see an estimated fare before confirming. Estimates are not guarantees; traffic, routing, and other factors can change the final amount.
- Current model: Base fee $2.50 + $2.00/mi, with a $7.00 minimum (subject to change). We may apply reasonable surcharges (e.g., late-night or special events) if posted in advance.
- How you pay: Payment instructions are provided when your request is confirmed (e.g., direct to the driver or a link we send). You do not enter bank details on this site.
5) Cancellations & No-Shows
You can cancel before the driver begins traveling to your pickup. If you cancel after they’ve begun, or if you are not at the pickup after a reasonable wait, a reasonable cancellation/no-show fee may apply to cover the driver’s time and travel. We will disclose any fee before applying it.
6) Communications & SMS
By requesting, you consent to receive SMS about your ride (e.g., confirmations, timing). Message/data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Frequency varies. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7) Safety
- JonGo is not for emergencies. If you need immediate help, call 911.
- Wear your seatbelt; follow driver instructions and local laws.
- No illegal items, open containers, or threatening behavior.
8) Independent Drivers
Drivers are not our employees, agents, or partners. We do not control their vehicles or routes, and we are not liable for their acts or omissions. We provide a platform to facilitate ride requests and communications.
9) Acceptable Use
- No misuse of the Service (spam, scraping, reverse engineering, interference).
- No false requests, harassment, discrimination, or dangerous activity.
10) Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is.” We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness, and non-infringement. We cannot guarantee availability, accurate ETAs, or uninterrupted access.
11) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed $100.
12) Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service or breach of these Terms.
13) Disputes, Governing Law, Arbitration
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflicts of law rules. Any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration in Whitfield County, Georgia. You waive class actions. Either party may bring a claim in small claims court if eligible.
14) Changes
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we’ll post the new effective date. Your continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
